ABOUT THE ROLE
Lafarge's Sundance Reclamation Facility near Lake Wabamun reclaims landfilled ash and repurposes it for use in concrete manufacturing. The facility is the first of its kind to utilize PABS technology from Ash-TEK to beneficiate landfilled materials, supporting Lafarge’s global commitment to reducing greenhouse gas emissions. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and versatile Ticketed Millwright to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of industrial machinery and equipment to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the facility.
WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Education: Post secondary education
Additional Education Preferred: Electrical aptitude and proficiency in multiple welding processes are assets.
Field of Study Preferred: Millwright, Mechanical Systems, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.
Required Work Experience: Minimum of 5 years of practical experience in a maintenance role, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
Required Training/Certifications: Valid Class 5 Driver’s License.
Required Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, combustion systems, and pneumatics. Basic understanding of automation strategies.
