We have an excellent opportunity for a dedicated and experienced Industrial Millwright to join our client's team. As an Industrial Millwright in the automotive manufacturing sector, you'll be involved in a wide range of tasks, from preventative maintenance to troubleshooting complex equipment failures, all while upholding the highest safety standards.
Position: Industrial Millwright (valid 433a license required)
Location: Guelph
Shift: 2 Week Rotations (Days, Afternoons, Nights)
Payrate: $39.90-$47.02

Responsibilities
- Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on paint and assembly equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair moulding presses, fans, pumps, chillers, compressors, and hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Assemble, install, rebuild, and overhaul equipment.
- Weld and fabricate components as needed.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
- Complete all required work orders and associated documentation accurately and on time.
- Maintain 5S standards to ensure a safe and organized work environment.
- Mentor Mechanical Apprentices as assigned, sharing your knowledge and expertise.
- Perform other general mechanical duties as assigned by the Team Leader.
Qualifications
- Millwright Certificate of Qualification 443A is mandatory.
- Completion of a four-year apprenticeship program.
- Grade 12 English & Math or equivalent.
- Proven ability to work independently and troubleshoot complex issues.
- Demonstrated experience with continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ability to work a rotating shift and extended hours as required.
- Must be results and team-oriented.
- A strong commitment to prioritizing safety in all duties.
- Knowledge of PLC, control systems, and robot programming is considered an asset.
- Experience in an industrial painting environment is an asset.
