MillTech Lumber Inventory Systems Implementer

Software Support & Implementer of MillTech, a leading Lumber Inventory Sales and Production System

MillTech Inventory Management Solutions, a leading supplier of lumber inventory/sales and production software, is expanding and is looking to hire an implementer of lumber (wood products) inventory software.

This is a full-time remote role for a Lumber Inventory Systems Implementer. The role involves customer support and system implementation of lumber industry-specific inventory sales and production systems at lumber mills.

Candidates must have worked at a lumber company and implemented or supported or have been a power user of a lumber inventory system, particularly the MillTech Lumber Inventory/Sales and Production System.

The implementer’s responsibilities and skills include:

  • Experience in Software Implementation and Training
  • Technical Support capabilities
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Analytical Skills and Information Systems expertise

The right candidate will also eventually become involved in assisting or doing pre-sales product demonstrations.

The position of implementer is both challenging and satisfying as you will be instrumental in assisting our clients in making changes and improvements to their businesses by helping them implement the MillTech Inventory, Sales & Production System.

Some technical knowledge is a plus but not mandatory, including:

  • Experience with in-the-mill mobile data collection.
  • Query Writing

Accounting knowledge can be a plus.

A candidate must be able to read English and understand that if they have not worked in the lumber industry, then please do not apply.

MillTech is a Burnaby, BC-based company. The candidate will mainly work from home but can also work out of the MillTech Burnaby office. We pay well and offer an excellent benefits package.

Some travel is required, probably a week every second month.
