  • Work with Mill Operations, Maintenance, Safety, Training Supervisors, trainers, and subject matter experts to identify priorities, close gaps, and ensure training supports operational needs and risk controls.
  • Develop, review, and update training materials, lesson plans, assessments, procedures, and practical sign-off tools to align with current operating standards.
  • Maintain audit-ready training records, reports, competency documentation, and certification data in accordance with legislative and company requirements.
  • Coordinate or support vendor and OEM training as required for mill equipment, process control systems, mobile equipment, and specialized operational needs.
  • Support continuous improvement by identifying gaps in training programs, procedures, and operational practices, and contribute practical solutions.
  • Promote safety leadership and operational excellence by participating in safety initiatives, investigations, and cross-functional teamwork.

  • Ability to evaluate training requirements, identify competency gaps, and support practical continuous improvement.
Skills & Strengths

  • Strong communication, facilitation, coaching, and feedback skills for classroom and field settings.
  • Well-organized, able to work independently and in a team, with strong time management and ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety, risk management, and safe production in a mining environment.
