Job summary

The Andersons is seeking a Production Worker II- Food Operations to support daily flour mill operations, including receiving and grading wheat, sanitation, and equipment checks. You will work in a hands-on environment with dust and physical activity, following safety, GMP and SQF guidelines.

This role requires a safety-first mindset, ability to operate forklifts and other mobile equipment, and flexibility for rotating shifts and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous food, grain, agriculture, or production experience preferred.
• Must be safety-focused and able to follow PPE, SQF, and GMP requirements.
• Flexibility for rotating shifts and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Receive, grade and process inbound and outbound wheat loads.
• Perform weekly master sanitation tasks.
• Carry out preventative maintenance and assist maintenance personnel as needed.
• Operate forklift and other mobile equipment safely.
• Maintain clean and sanitary work area in the mill.
• Identify and report food safety/quality issues to management.
