Job summary

BW Gold is seeking a dependable Gold Process Plant Operator for its Blackwater Mine site. The role is permanent and follows a two weeks on, two weeks off rotation at a remote mining camp, with safety as a core priority.

You will follow SOPs, operate and troubleshoot plant equipment, and work as part of a tight team. Strong mechanical ability, good communication, and flexibility for night shifts and extreme weather are essential.

Qualifications

• Operational Gold Process Plant Experience (Min. OP 3 Level)
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Effective communication skills (verbal and written)
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics
• Multistage crushing experience
• CIL operational experience
• Cyanide destruct operational experience

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate effective safety leadership by addressing and enforcing BW Gold's safety standards, procedures, and systems.
• Follow SOPs and safety protocols to ensure safe and efficient operation of equipment and processes.
• Willingness to be cross-trained across Plant Unit functions.
• May require to maintain a clean-shaven appearance for PPE use.
• Perform other duties as required.

Responsibilities

• Ability to work at a remote location camp on a 2 weeks on/2 weeks off rotation.
• Comfortable working and living in close quarters with the team.
• Ability to maintain high levels of performance over 12-hour shift.
• Ability to lift/move up to 50lbs throughout a work shift.
• Ability to work night shift and in extreme weather conditions.Forklift and crane operation skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
