Job summary

BW Gold, a subsidiary of Artemis Gold Inc., is seeking a Safety-conscious Gold Process Plant Operator to join the Blackwater site in British Columbia. The role supports 2 weeks on/2 weeks off rotation, permanent employment, and 12-hour shifts in a remote camp.

You will operate and trouble-shoot processing circuits, read technical manuals, and work with a team to meet production targets while upholding safety and SOPs.

Qualifications

• Operational Gold Process Plant experience at minimum OP3 level.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams and schematics.
• Multistage crushing and CIL/Cyanide destruction experience.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate effective safety leadership and enforce BW Gold safety standards.
• Follow SOPs and safety protocols for safe, efficient operation of equipment.
• Willingness to be cross-trained across Plant Unit functions.
• Maintain required PPE and appearance as needed for safety.
• Perform other duties as required.

Location: Blackwater Mine site

Schedule: Two (2) Weeks On – Two (2) Weeks Off Rotation

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate effective safety leadership by addressing and enforcing BW Golds safety standards, procedures, and safety systems.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols to ensure safe and efficient operation of equipment and processes.
• Willingness to be cross trained across Plant Unit functions.
• May require to maintain a clean-shaven appearence (i.e. no facial hair) to ensure the safe and effective use of required personal protective equipment (PPE) associated with assigned duties.
• Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications

Preferred Skills

• Ability to work at a remote location camp on a 2 weeks on/2 weeks off rotation.
• Comfortable working and living in close quarters with the team.
• Ability to maintain high levels of performance over 12-hour shift.
• Ability to lift/move up to 50lbs throughout a work shift.
• Ability to work night shift and in extreme weather conditions.Forklift and crane operation skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
