Mill Operator

Job Title: Mill Operator

Hourly pay rate: $22.69 - $29.30 per hour

Hours: 12-hour shifts, rotating schedule

Role & Responsibilities:

1. Adhere to all safety and housekeeping requirements within a manufacturing setting.
2. Operate production equipment, troubleshoot issues, and make adjustments to meet product and quality specifications.
3. Record production data and results accurately.
4. Apply basic maintenance skills to service equipment as needed.
5. Participate actively in plant safety and continuous improvement initiatives as directed by supervision.
6. Be adaptable to scheduling requirements, including shift work, overtime, and weekend work when applicable.

Qualifications & Requirements:

1. Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment and follow all safety and housekeeping rules.
2. Willingness to learn equipment operation and troubleshooting.
3. Ability to interpret verbal and written instructions.
4. Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.
5. Proficiency in taking measurements to verify product specifications.
6. Basic maintenance skills, including familiarity with common hand tools (hammer, wrench, screwdrivers, pliers, putty knife, etc.).
7. Effective teamwork and communication skills.
8. Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
