Job Details
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Setting: Commercial, Millwork/pre-fab shopwork.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years.
  • Salary: $19.00 to $24.00 per hour (to be negotiated) / 40 hours per week.
  • Terms of Employment: Permanent, full-time.
  • Work Hours: 08:00 to 16:30.
  • Location: 145 Schnares Crossing Rd, PO Box 819, Lunenburg, NS B0J 2C0.
Responsibilities
  • Read blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements.
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
  • Work with hand tools and carpentry/woodworking machinery.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
  • Bending, crouching, kneeling.
  • Combination of sitting, standing, walking.
  • Handling heavy loads.
