Job summary

Cam Tran is seeking a MIG Welder in Spruce Grove, AB. You will fabricate and assemble metal tanks, set up welding equipment, and read blueprints to ensure welds meet specifications. This role emphasizes safety, quality, and teamwork in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You’ll work with experienced tradespeople on modern equipment, with opportunities for growth and cross-training within the company. This position is on-site in a busy production setting and may require overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years MIG welding experience in production.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specs and welding symbols.
• Safety-conscious and detail-oriented with a commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Perform GMAW (MIG) welding in a production environment to fabricate and assemble metal tanks to spec.
• Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment and read process specifications.
• Review production schedules and complete quality checks to meet daily targets.
• Follow ISO procedures and participate in safety checks and team huddles.
