Job summary

Rocky View Schools is hiring a full-time Middle School Humanities/Arts teacher for Meadowbrook Middle School in Airdrie, Alberta. The position starts immediately and requires eligibility for an Alberta Teaching Certificate.

Qualifications

• Applicants must possess or be eligible for an Alberta Teaching Certificate. To be eligible for an Alberta Teaching Certificate you must have applied for initial certification with Alberta Education at www.alberta.ca/teacher-certification.
• New/Recent Graduates Only: In lieu of a reference letter, please submit your final practicum report.
• External applicants must provide a professional letter of reference, attached to the job application, from their most recent supervisor, relevant to the job opportunity, written on company letterhead, signed and dated within the past 18 months.
• The successful candidate must submit a current Criminal Record with Vulnerable Sector Check within 30 days of the start of your employment.

• Collaborate with Meadowbrook staff to deliver engaging instruction and assessments.
