Job description
Overview

Independent Reserve Singapore is seeking a seasoned middle office hire. This foundational role for the Singapore office would suit an experienced operator with a background in institutional middle office / settlements. A broad understanding and interest in cryptocurrency would be greatly valued.

Responsibilities
  • Reconcile daily P&L across trading desks, investigate mismatches, and work closely with the Front Office to resolve any discrepancies
  • Review and verify trade details to ensure accuracy and consistency across systems
  • Collaborate with the OTC team to streamline operational workflows and support automation efforts to handle increasing trade volumes efficiently
  • Calculate and consolidate monthly brokerage data for reporting purposes; ensure reports are accurate, timely, and clearly presented
  • Assist with internal and external audits by preparing and maintaining detailed trade and risk documentation
Qualifications
  • A bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, or a related field
  • 3–6 years of experience in middle office, trade support, or P&L reporting; exposure to digital assets or structured products preferred
  • Flexibility with working hours — may require availability outside standard office hours to support trading activities or reconciliations
  • A genuine interest in the crypto space, with a strong grasp of blockchain fundamentals (e.g. how transactions work, wallet infrastructure, etc.)
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and a fast-learning mindset
  • Organised, dependable, and comfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Mandarin is a plus, especially when dealing with regional counterparties or documentation
