Job description

This role will be based in Toronto.

The work location for this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days as determined by the needs of the team.

We are seeking a Learning & Engagement Account Executive to join our team as a trusted adviser within our Enterprise segment. You will identify, qualify, and capture new sales opportunities. You should have a solid understanding of the industry, collaborate internally, be a strategic advisor to your clients, and consistently meet your sales targets.

Responsibilities :

  1. Understand customers' businesses and objectives by conducting research, preparing thoughtful questions, and insights in advance of customer meetings.
  2. Practice active listening and thoughtful discovery to uncover customers' buying motivators, decision criteria, investment propensity, and key stakeholders.
  3. Gain commitment and buy-in to drive customer decision-making by achieving a shared vision, proactively laying out the ROI/value proposition, and establishing a champion relationship.
  4. Collaborate internally with the Account Director and CSMs to ensure a holistic solution that meets customer objectives.
  5. Think commercially and apply business acumen when crafting and negotiating commercial agreements.
  6. Use data and insights to support investment recommendations or overcome customer objections.
  7. Identify an accurate path to revenue for the relevant quota period and manage time accordingly.
  8. Demonstrate sales operational excellence through CRM discipline, attention to detail, documented sales activities, clear and accurate forecasts, and pipeline management.
  9. Utilize CRM and other sales tools effectively to maximize efficiency and productivity.

Qualifications :

Basic Qualifications :

  • 4 years of applicable sales experience

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Evidence of a growth mindset and ongoing personal and professional development.
  • Experience in SaaS sales or selling HR/Healthcare technology solutions.
  • Knowledge of software contract terms and conditions, with the ability to create fair transactions.
  • Excellent communication, client, time management, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with C-suite executives.
  • Ability to evaluate sound business opportunities, resolve conflicts, close deals, and exceed revenue goals.
  • Proven ability to find, manage, and close high-level business within an existing customer base.
  • Ability to assess business opportunities, use data to inform decisions, and persuade others.
  • Capacity to manage multiple prospect situations simultaneously while positioning solutions against competitors.
