Job summary

Port of Québec is seeking an Application Analyst to provide second‑level support for assigned applications, especially Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and related tools. You will analyze incidents, configure, and assist with adoption and governance efforts across business units.

The role requires a DEC or higher in a relevant field, 5+ years in application support, and strong documentation and collaboration skills.

Qualifications

DEC or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Management, Business Administration, or equivalent.
Training and/or practical expertise in the Microsoft 365 environment (SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive).
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in application support, incident management, and user support.
Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and technology monitoring.
Ability to translate business processes into simple, secure application solutions.
Strong end-user documentation skills and ability to explain technical concepts.

Responsibilities

Provide second-level support for assigned applications, including analysis, diagnosis, documentation, and resolution of requests in collaboration with stakeholders.
Promote adoption of Microsoft 365 solutions across the organization.
Evaluate enhancement requests by analyzing operational, functional, technological, and financial impacts.
Collaborate with project managers, business owners, and vendors on application changes.
Ensure interventions comply with policies and standards and maintain follow-up on files.
Contribute to improving application support processes through documentation and best practices.
