Bureau Veritas is seeking a Microbiologist to join our environmental laboratory in Saint-Laurent, QC.

Your main responsibilities:

• Perform complex sample preparation and analysis
• Follow SOPs to ensure accuracy and quality
• Ensure quality control criteria are met
• Approve and validate data
• Generate and send reports to clients
• Understand and diagnose analyses
• Contribute to corrective actions
• Meet deadlines
• Recommend SOP revisions
• Maintain equipment
• Plan and organize work using summaries
• Follow safety regulations
• Contribute to planning and supervision
• Coordinate projects and validate new methods
• Write SOPs
• Address contamination issues and question results
• Perform other related tasks

Ideal Candidate:

• BAC/Master in microbiology or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of microbiology experience in an environmental lab
• Ability to work independently or in a team
• Attentive to detail
• Dynamic, energetic, motivated with a positive attitude
