Qualifications

Proven experience as an MHE technician or in a similar industrial maintenance role.
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical wiring, motors, and pulleys.

Responsibilities

Diagnoses, troubleshoots, and repairs mixing, extrusion, and coating equipment.
Performs general maintenance including basic electric and electric motor/pump swaps.

MHE Mechanic

Compensation:

$25-$35, DOE

Schedule:

Tuesday - Saturday: 9am-5:30pm

Position Summary:

Experience with Crown / Raymond / Toyota / Turrets forklift and pallet jacks (operating and repairing)
Experience with equipment chargers, pallet jacks, rider jacks, turrets, sky jacks
Repairs and replacement of major system components, including electrical parts, hydraulic, mechanical, L.P.
Repairs electrical equipment, control circuits, electrical switches
Operates a computer which controls and monitors mechanical equipment and utility systems
Performs general maintenance including basic electric, electric motor/pump swaps, and general PM
Develops plans, specifications, and work schedules with contractors
Identifies equipment obsolescence risks
Diagnoses, troubleshoots, and repairs mixing, extrusion, and coating equipment
Performs other miscellaneous duties/projects as assigned by supervisor
Completes monitoring of building management systems and assists in diagnosing and necessary repairs
Requires mechanical, hydraulic, electrical repairs
Understanding of 12v, 24v, 36v, 80v systems
Understanding of AC/DC motors and systems
Work in cold/hot environments, indoors and outdoors, including freezers (-10°C to 100°C)
Knowledge of lock-out tag-out procedures
Reports to lead/supervisor
Must complete work orders, parts inventory, and parts requests
Adhere to company policies like attendance point system
Capable of maintaining entire operation with minimal supervision

Qualifications

Required Minimum Education/Experience:

Proven experience as an MHE technician or in a similar industrial maintenance role
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical wiring, motors, pulleys
Proficiency with diagnostic tools, power tools, and maintenance software
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
A high school diploma or equivalent
Technical education beyond high school, such as an associate degree or apprenticeship
In-depth knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems
Manual dexterity and physical strength
