Forklift Material Handler – Raymond Reach & Cherry Picker (Temp to Perm)

Location: Scarborough, ON (Morningside & Finch area)
Pay Rate: $23.50/hour
Shift:

• Training Week (Days): Mon–Fri, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (Week of July 21st)
• Regular Schedule (Nights): Sun–Thurs, 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM

This is a Temp-to-Perm opportunity with long-term potential!

What You'll Be Doing:

• Operate Raymond Reach and Cherry Picker forklifts to fulfill customer orders efficiently.
• Use RF scanners to accurately pick, scan, and track inventory.
• Assemble and prepare pallets for packing or shipping.
• Unload incoming merchandise and support receiving operations.
• Assist in assembling metal cabinets and lockers using hand tools (manual, air, or electric).
• Work closely with inventory, returns, and other warehouse teams.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and productive work environment.
• Follow all safety guidelines, including use of CSA-approved steel toe footwear.

What You Bring to the Role:

• 2+ years of recent warehouse and forklift experience.
• Valid forklift license/certification for Raymond Reach and Cherry Picker.
• Fall Arrest Certification (must be valid).
• Comfortable with heavy lifting (up to 75 lbs), bending, and standing for long periods.
• Strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols and RF scanning systems.
• Ability to read and follow assembly instructions or schematics.
• High attention to detail and reliability—this client is seeking long-term team members.
• Must be able to pass a background check and complete training on the day shift for the first week.
