Job description

Job Title: Security Program Manager

This is an interview position.

Objective: To manage and administer the Canadian Security Program, ensuring the safety and security of FedEx Express and Ground employees, facilities, and customer property.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  1. Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent (no specific discipline).
  2. Preferred Certifications: Certified Protection Professional (CPP).
  3. Security experience: 6 years, including 3 years in law enforcement or corporate security within the air cargo industry.
  4. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Basic), Outlook (Standard), and PowerPoint (Basic).
  5. Knowledge of investigation/interrogation techniques, detection/alarm systems, and FAA security regulations/laws.
  6. Ability to complete all basic and recurrency training successfully.
  7. Good understanding of FedEx products, services, and operations.
  8. Ability to obtain and maintain all required certifications.
  9. Must be able to travel within the immediate work area regularly.
  10. Must hold or be able to obtain a secret security clearance.
  11. Overnight travel approximately 2% (3 days/month).
