Great Canadian Casino Resort Toronto is seeking a dynamic Sales Professional with strong leadership, revenue-driven hotel experience, and an innovative sales mindset to drive business for this property. Reporting to the Regional Director of Sales and Catering (GTA), you will be responsible for the overall management and profitability of the sales operation at the site level. We are seeking a goal-oriented, energetic candidate with previous sales leadership experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership, direction, and mentoring to the Sales operation.
  • Develop annual Hotel Sales targets.
  • Build guest / client relationships to increase market share.
  • Solicit, negotiate, and book new and repeat business through various channels to maximize sales and profitability.
  • Forecast sales goals and analyze market information to meet or exceed financial targets.
  • Engage with guests during pre and post meetings for feedback.
  • Participate in trade shows and present new concepts to management.
  • Maintain knowledge of market trends, booking patterns, and hotel amenities.
  • Respond to client correspondence, conduct site visits, and greet guests during events.
  • Approve sales-related POs and invoices, liaise with accounting.
  • Coordinate with operational departments to exceed customer expectations.
  • Develop relationships with stakeholders including guests, management, vendors, and community leaders.
  • Ensure a safe, secure, and healthy environment.
  • Maintain accurate financial outlooks and optimize revenue and cost control.
  • Participate in revenue management to maximize room and incremental revenues.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Qualification Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience in hospitality.
  • Knowledge of Opera Sales & Catering and automation tools is an asset.
  • Hospitality degree / diploma is an asset.
  • Exceptional leadership skills.
  • Energetic, motivated, with strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Commitment to continual learning and service excellence.
  • Knowledge of Conference services and Casino Operations is an asset.
  • Work Environment

    Regular hotel environment, standing / walking for long periods, some noise and conflict, non-traditional hours.
