Job summary

Shared Health, in partnership with the University of Manitoba, invites applications for a full-time Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) Specialist. The successful candidate will provide clinical care for high-risk pregnancies and contribute to academic excellence in fetal health surveillance, prenatal diagnosis, and teaching.

The role includes outpatient maternal care at HSC Women’s Hospital, tertiary ultrasound services at HSC and St.

Qualifications

• Eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba (specialist registry in Obstetrics & Gynecology).
• Graduation from an approved Maternal-Fetal Medicine Fellowship program.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-risk maternal outpatient care at HSC Women’s Hospital.
• Conduct fetal assessment clinics with tertiary ultrasound and counseling.
• Deliver inpatient antepartum, postpartum, and intrapartum care.
• Participate in after-hours obstetrical call through an affiliated group.
• Engage in research, scholarly activity, and peer-reviewed publication (preferred).
