Position overview:

Reporting to the Manager, Graduate Programs, the MFI Communication Officer will develop and implement communication strategies, support marketing and advertising efforts, and build stakeholder relationships. Responsibilities include organizing events, producing promotional materials, and delivering presentations to attract sponsorships.

Key responsibilities:
  1. Implement communication plans aligned with outreach goals.
  2. Advise on multimedia marketing strategies.
  3. Conduct community outreach for targeted audiences.
  4. Create surveys and research tools for program evaluation.
  5. Develop promotional materials.
  6. Organize special events and functions.
  7. Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders and partners.
  8. Present proposals to attract sponsorships.
Essential qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least four years of relevant experience in media, communications, or public relations.
  • Experience with social media, digital communications, and analytics.
  • Proven ability to manage branding portfolios, large-scale events, and strategic partnerships.
  • Knowledge of Financial Insurance and Data Science industries is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, web content management, Adobe Creative Suite, and social media tools.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently and effectively prioritize tasks.
