HACIENDA CIELITO LINDO RESTAURANT LTD. in Kamloops, BC, is seeking a Cook NOC (63200) to prepare and cook Mexican dishes on site. You will plan menus, manage food prep, assist with inventory, and ensure safety and quality in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

The role requires 1–2 years of kitchen experience and a high school diploma. The position is permanent, full-time with 30–40 hours per week and a starting wage of 20 CAD per hour.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of kitchen experience.
• Mexican cuisine experience is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsabilités

• Plan menus and estimate food requirements for realization.
• Requisition food and kitchen supplies.
• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods.
• Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
• Inspect kitchens and food service areas.
• Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food.
• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment.
• Clean kitchen and work areas.
