Métis Nation-Saskatchewan in Saskatchewan seeks a Cultural Connections Supervisor to design and implement Métis cultural programs for children in CFS. Working under the CFS Manager and Director of CFS, you will oversee planning and coordination of services for Métis children, families, and communities in Saskatchewan, including out-of-home placements.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree in Indigenous Social Work/Social Work, Education, or similar field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar role with community development, prevention programming, and facilitation.
• An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered, as long as it directly relates to the essential duties and responsibilities.
• Lived experience is considered an asset.
• Advanced computer skills including knowledge of Adobe and Microsoft Office programs Outlook, Word, Publisher, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsabilités

• Monitor the Cultural Connections program email inbox, responding to inquiries and coordinating referrals.
• Assess program eligibility and assign new referrals to Cultural Connection Coordinators.
• Provide senior-level case consultation and facilitate monthly case reviews to ensure quality service delivery.
• Manage client caseloads during temporary staffing vacancies to maintain continuity of services.
• Resolve complex client, caregiver, and Ministry staff concerns, providing guidance and facilitating effective solutions.
