AAA Canada is seeking a Method Agent / Manufacturing Engineer to join our Mirabel site. The role focuses on optimizing manufacturing processes for aerospace components, coordinating between engineering and production teams, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across major projects in aeronautics, ground transportation, and defense.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in mechanical or industrial engineering, or DEC in engineering or aeronautics, with 5 to 8 years of relevant experience.
• PMP certification or project management experience is an asset.
• Strong experience in continuous improvement and problem-solving.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Analytical, logical and flexible mindset with attention to detail.
• Leadership, autonomy, initiative and team spirit.
• Excellent organizational, synthesis and documentation skills.
• Very good command of the Google suite.

Responsabilités

• Optimize processes by proposing innovative solutions and reducing costs.
• Facilitate communication between stakeholders and promote an internal customer service culture.
• Identify risks related to PREFAL and contribute to their resolution.
• Drive continuous improvement and problem-solving initiatives (ePPS).
• Manage priorities according to organizational goals.
• Synthesize and present complex situations to different management levels.
• Analyze, verify, and approve engineering drawings and documents.
• Define manufacturing and assembly strategies for aircraft components.
• Determine the tooling required to respect geometric tolerances.
• Coordinate the integration of engineering and manufacturing changes with the relevant teams.
• Identify opportunities for improving manufacturing and assembly methods and participate in R&D projects.
