About the Client

Our client is sourcing a Metals Research Market Trade Analyst to join their team.

About the Opportunity

• Market Research and Analysis: Perform marketing research for new and/or improved opportunities for sales and marketing
• Researching the market
• Evaluating opportunities
• Managing the interactions and accounts
• Evaluate potential new customers for capability and logistics feasibility
• Perform market analysis
• Assist in the arrangement and facilitation of visits to customers
• Research and compile sections of various reports

About You

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Geology, Engineering, Commercial or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus
• 3+ years of experience in metals research, commodity analysis, or financial analysis within the metals/mining industry or a financial institution
• Or working experience as an engineer or geologist within mining or the oil and gas industry. Mining & international experience a plus
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with high proficiency in data interpretation and trend analysis
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, data analysis tools, and familiarity with financial modeling; experience with software like Bloomberg, Reuters Eikon, or similar databases is advantageous
