Cyclic Materials in Ontario seeks a Lab Analyst to analyze samples, prepare reports, and maintain lab equipment to support commercial and R&D operations, including hydrometallurgical process development. The role requires chemistry and metallurgy knowledge, data interpretation, and adherence to safety standards.

You'll work day and night shifts if required, and collaborate with cross-functional teams while ensuring accurate documentation and compliance in a laboratory setting.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with laboratory analytical techniques such as AAS, CS, ICP, titration, and chemical analysis methods.
• Strong understanding of hydrometallurgical mass balances and techniques.
• Proficiency in using laboratory equipment and instruments related to hydrometallurgical testing.
• Excellent data analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex experimental results.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and protocols in a laboratory environment.

Responsabilités

• Independently prepare and analyze samples from daily operations ensuring proper handling and safety protocols are followed.
• Operate and maintain laboratory instruments such as pH meters, spectrometers, leach columns, AAS, ICP, XRF, and other analytical systems.
• Develop analytical SOPs and advance existing procedures for analysis of different materials.
• Maintain detailed records of laboratory activities, consumables, equipment maintenance, and test results.
• Generate technical reports, summarize findings, and provide recommendations for analytical process improvements.
