Metal Spinning Engineering and Lead Technician

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Metal Spinning Engineering and Lead Technician to oversee and lead a team of spin operators and setup technicians. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in manufacturing, with a strong background in CNC and spin machine operation. This individual must possess leadership skills to manage production workflows, ensure operational efficiency, and maintain high-quality standards. The role requires close collaboration with management and other departments to meet production goals.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead a team of spin operators and setup technicians, providing guidance, training, and mentorship.
2. Program CNC spin machines as needed to optimize production.
3. Set up and operate CNC spin machines to produce high-quality forged wheels and components.
4. Work closely with management to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.
5. Troubleshoot machine issues and ensure timely resolution to minimize downtime.
6. Ensure all production activities adhere to quality and safety standards.
7. Maintain accurate documentation of machine settings, production reports, and quality checks.
8. Collaborate with Engineering, Quality Control, and Shop Management to ensure conformance with specifications.

Qualifications

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Proven experience in manufacturing, particularly in CNC Lathe and spin machine operations.
3. Strong math skills and mental math capabilities.
4. Leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
5. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
6. Effective communication and teamwork skills.
7. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
8. Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and continuous improvement.

Job Type & Pay

1. Job Type: Full-Time, In-Person
2. Pay Range: $32.00 – $46.00 per hour (commensurate with experience)
3. Schedule: Day shift: 7 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday – Friday (8-hour shift)
