Employment: Permanent, full-time, on-site at the manufacturing site 5 days a week

Our client, a leading manufacturer of custom-built metal fabricated parts, is hiring a Metal Fabrication Manufacturing Engineer in the St. Mary's - Stratford - Kitchener, ON area. Candidates must have experience in process improvement, installation and commissioning of fabrication cells (cutting, bending, welding), lean Six Sigma methodologies, and projects in custom fabrication. A degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering (EIT preferred) is highly desirable. Proven experience in process improvement, especially in bending, cutting, forming, and welding, is essential. Excellent communication skills in English are required.

This role involves working closely with Production and Engineering teams to improve throughput, eliminate waste, collaborate with OEMs, create feasibility reports, upgrade or install equipment, enhance floor capacity, and develop or revise SOPs, weld instructions, and best practices, ensuring safety standards are met.
