Purpose of Role : Weir Marine Engineering has a requirement for a Metadata Specialist to assist our clients in the Department of National Defence (DND) with their quest towards a scalable and efficient Master Data Management (MDM) solution. This challenging position involves working closely with our DND clients, but can be performed remotely (telework). As such, the position could be based in different locations, including Ottawa, Toronto, Halifax or Montreal. The initial requirement is for a contract to 31 March 2026, but it is expected that the contract will subsequently be renewed annually for one or more years. Although this opportunity is aimed at a consultant / contractor, an employment arrangement could also be considered.
