Job description

A career in our growing Merger and Acquisition Tax practice within Tax services offers you the opportunity to assist clients across various industries in managing their tax obligations within dynamic and specialized areas. You will advise on local and cross-border tax issues, acting as a strategic consultant in business analysis and M&A tax solutions.

Our team supports clients with aspects of merger and acquisition transactions such as transaction structuring, tax due diligence, internal reorganizations, and post-acquisition integration. As a team member, you will assess historical tax risks of potential targets, analyze transactions for tax risks or benefits, advise on tax-efficient restructurings, and perform financial analysis to evaluate tax implications.

Meaningful work you'll be part of

As a Mergers and Acquisitions Manager, you'll work with a team of problem solvers to deliver high-quality client service and operational efficiency. Responsibilities include:

  • Contributing to transactions from proposal to closing, collaborating with PwC professionals, legal and financial advisors, and client senior management.
  • Adding value by identifying material tax issues during due diligence or proposing efficient tax structures during closing.
  • Applying technical knowledge to research, design, and implement tax planning solutions.
  • Anticipating stakeholder needs and developing solutions proactively.
  • Handling ambiguous and unstructured problems effectively.
  • Balancing big-picture thinking with attention to detail.
  • Encouraging team participation and fostering open communication.
  • Leading coaching conversations and navigating cross-border or diverse teams.
