Overview

KPMG's M&A Tax team is expanding and is currently seeking a Senior Manager. In this role, you will work directly with a variety of clients to provide expert advice regarding:

  • Tax risks associated with acquisitions and divestitures
  • Sustainable tax structuring opportunities
  • Tax modeling

What You Will Do
  • Perform tax due diligence, including reviewing tax and financial data, interviewing management and tax advisors, and identifying issues.
  • Draft tax due diligence reports and other deliverables.
  • Prepare drafts of tax structuring documents for transactions, including drafting steps, structure diagrams, and analyzing tax considerations.
  • Conduct tax research using tools like TaxFind, TaxNetPro, TaxPartner, etc., and summarize findings.
  • Develop tax models for transactions, including calculations and cash flow analyses.
What You Bring To The Role
  • Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, Law, or related field.
  • Completion or near completion of CPA, CA, or equivalent, or legal background.
  • 3-5 years of tax experience.
  • Understanding of transactional methodologies, data room navigation, due diligence, and reporting.
  • Strong project management, analytical, and interpretation skills.
  • Excellent communication and research skills.
  • Ability to interact effectively with clients and anticipate their needs.
  • Willingness to learn about various aspects of M&A Tax services.
