Job summary

American Eagle Outfitters in Edmonton, AB is seeking a full-time Merchandising Team Leader to develop and implement the merchandising strategy, train and coach the team, and ensure Visual standards are met daily, keeping the store guest-ready.

You will lead daily operations, drive sales as Leader on Duty, mentor talent, uphold store safety and asset protection, and deliver exceptional guest experiences while maintaining replenishment and brand standards.

Qualifications

• Experience leading retail teams in a store environment.
• Strong ability to train and develop staff to meet brand standards.
• Proven ability to analyze sales trends and drive KPIs.
• Knowledge of employment laws and ability to manage performance.

Responsibilities

• As Leader on Duty, drive sales by maximizing fitting room and salesfloor productivity.
• Coach team to deliver an outstanding guest experience and maintain AEO Brand Standards.
• Recruit, hire and develop talent to meet business needs and staffing levels.
• Provide real-time coaching and conduct development plans and reviews.
