The Merchandising Manager is an integral leadership role within the Freson Bros. Barrhead, Alberta store and the Freson Bros. company. Our merchandisers are our visual leaders who showcase artistic talent by creating exciting promotions and beautiful displays throughout the store while working closely with vendors to find unique items to showcase.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of progressive merchandising experience
• Proven ability to meet financial objectives and targets in a retail environment
• Ability to lead a team in a fast-paced, dynamic setting
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• Passion for leading and developing others
• Effective critical thinking and conflict resolution skills
• Strong Google Suite skills and adaptability to new computer programs
• Availability to work during peak food-retail hours (evenings, weekends, holidays)
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds
• Astute Business Acumen: Ability to grow and effectively manage an operational business unit
• Belief in teamwork and harnessing collective talent
• Ambition: Self-motivated and disciplined to achieve personal and professional success
• Brand Ambassadorship: Passionate about representing the Freson Bros. brand with team members to all guests
