Job Opportunity: Regional Floral Merchandisers

We are recruiting for Regional Floral Merchandisers to work within a designated region on behalf of growers to merchandise plant programs in large retailers from mid April to mid June (7 weeks).

Responsibilities include:

1. Supporting 1-2 retail locations by locating incoming orders, ensuring they are placed on the sales floor, managing inventory and pricing, and maintaining all items in the retail locations within a designated region.

Requirements and Preferences:

• Having personal transportation to travel efficiently between locations is an asset.
• Availability for shifts on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (occasionally Friday) between 8 am and 4 pm, depending on delivery schedules.
• Weekly hours will range from 4 to 8 hours.
• Ability to bend, lift, push, and pull items weighing 20-50 lbs during shifts.
• Ability to work independently.
• Knowledge of floral or plant maintenance.
• Personable with strong relationship-building skills.
• Keen to learn quickly.
• Effective multitasking and time management skills.
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Experience in merchandising, retail, or labor roles.
• Travel ability within 1 hour from home is preferred.
• Access to a cell phone with data for online reporting.
