Job summary

The Michaels Companies, Inc. is seeking a Merchandise Manager for a Pembroke, ON store.

The role drives merchandising and operational execution, including truck processing, inventory routines, planogram sets, pricing accuracy, and promotional execution to maintain a customer-ready store environment. Responsibilities include SOP adherence, policy implementation, MOD coverage, truck and stock flow, workload planning, in-stock optimization, and visual merchandising to Michaels standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull merchandise and fixtures, up to 25-50 pounds.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends and early mornings.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in adhering to SOPs and company programs.
• Lead truck execution, unloading and merchandising flow to the sales floor.
• Own workload planning and daily task prioritization with store leadership.
• Oversee Planogram (POG) execution and visual merchandising standards.
• Manage inventory control, pricing accuracy, and promotional execution.
• Oversee Ship from Store fulfillment and RTV/ASN processes.
