Job summary

Walmart Canada in Bathurst, NB is seeking a General Merchandise Associate to deliver friendly customer service, help shoppers choose products, and keep the sales floor organized and ready for customers.

You will support stocking and merchandising tasks, assist with floor coverage, maintain safety and cleanliness, and strive to provide a positive shopping experience while working flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and professional customer service by greeting customers, assisting with product selection, promoting products and services, helping locate merchandise, supporting purchase decisions, and resolving or referring customer concerns as needed.
• Cover assigned areas of the sales floor and assist with Front End coverage when required, communicating with teammates to ensure coverage and meet customer needs.
• Zone assigned areas to maintain a clean and organized sales floor, move feature merchandise to its modular location, and process recovery merchandise from the Customer Service desk and other areas.
• Stock merchandise and picks, complete downstocking as required, apply product protection when needed, and set and complete modulars, including flex modulars and new shelf caps.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and hazard-free work environment by following policies and procedures, completing safety sweep logs, and ensuring displays and fixtures are secure.
