Job summary

Walmart Canada in New Westminster, BC is seeking a General Merchandise Associate to deliver friendly, customer-focused service on the sales floor. You will assist customers, stock shelves, support merchandising, and help maintain a clean, organized store environment while complying with safety standards.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Deliver an Excellent Customer Experience: greet customers, assist with product selection, promote products and services, help locate merchandise, and resolve concerns.
• Sales Floor Coverage and Team Support: cover assigned areas and assist with Front End coverage; coordinate with teammates to meet customer needs.
• Merchandising, Zoning, and Recovery: zone areas, move feature merchandise, and recover items from various store areas.
• Stocking and Modular Execution: stock merchandise, downstock, apply protection, and set modulars including new shelf caps.
• Safety, Cleanliness, and Compliance: maintain a safe, clean environment per policies and ensure displays are secure.
• Flexibility (Availability/Work Schedule): be open to evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
