Why is this role important?

Reporting to a Store Setup Manager, you will be part of a special team of colleagues who travel to stores all across the province, to merchandise and assist teams during renovations and new store openings.

What You'll Do:

1. You will travel to assigned retail locations and different locations within Alberta on a weekly basis to work alongside construction teams to remodel our stores.
2. Responsibilities include eliminating out-of-stock and out-of-date product from the shelves, cleaning and/or adjusting the shelves, and re-stocking the shelves.
3. Efficiently and accurately assemble, set up, maintain store fixtures, displays, and shelves by following Plan-O-Grams (a guide with pictures and information).
4. Receive and unload incoming materials and compare information on packing slips with purchase orders to verify accuracy of shipments.
5. Ensure merchandise of all departments is presentable for customers, including aisles being accessible at all times.
6. Assist in other tasks as needed (manual labor, cleaning, general maintenance, stockroom & sales floor maintenance).

What You'll Need:

1. Valid Driver's License and access to a vehicle as transportation to different stores is required.
2. Flexibility to work any shift, predominantly overnight shifts.
3. Willing and able to work overtime as required.
4. Ability to lift 50 lbs on a regular basis and stand on your feet for prolonged periods of time.
5. Extensive travel required with excellent compensation rates provided.
6. Retail store experience with a solid understanding of the overall store operations would be an asset.
7. Previous experience working with Merchandiser/Stocker is an asset.
8. Good communication and interpersonal skills (both written and verbal).
9. Strong organizational and time management skills.
10. Computer and software literate, able to learn new software.
