Merchandising Clerk

Why is this role important?

Reporting to a Store Setup Manager, you will be part of a specialized team that travels to stores to merchandise and assist during renovations and new store openings.

What You'll Do :

1. Travel to assigned retail locations and various sites within Vancouver weekly to collaborate with construction trades on store remodels.
2. Eliminate out-of-stock and outdated products from shelves, clean, adjust, and restock as needed.
3. Assemble, set up, and maintain store fixtures, displays, and shelves following Plan-O-Grams.
4. Receive and unload incoming materials, verifying shipment accuracy against purchase orders.
5. Ensure all merchandise is presentable and aisles remain accessible for customers.
6. Assist with manual labor, cleaning, general maintenance, and stockroom and sales floor upkeep as needed.

What You'll Need :

• Retail store experience and understanding of store operations are assets.
• Experience as a Merchandiser or Stocker is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and time management skills.
• Valid Driver's License and access to a vehicle for travel between stores.
• Proficiency with computers and software, with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Flexibility to work predominantly overnight shifts and overtime as required.
• Willingness to travel extensively, with competitive compensation provided.
