Job summary

RCL - Reitmans Canada Limited is seeking a Merchandising Associate to support product flow, stock management, and store presentation. You will help keep the sales floor organized, ensure timely deliveries, and assist with visual merchandising to maintain brand standards.

You will interact with customers, apply product knowledge, and contribute to a smooth shopping experience while adapting to a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• +6 months of experience in merchandise processing, retail, sales, or customer service is preferred.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• High attention to detail, with the ability to follow procedures and maintain consistent standards.
• Passion for fashion: good sense of style and solid knowledge of fashion trends.
• Proficient in POS, ERP, ATS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Flexible availability; able to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 40 lbs (18 kg), and use a step ladder reaching up to 3 m (10 feet).

Responsibilities

• Support an exceptional shopping experience by ensuring product is organized, accessible, and visually aligned with brand standards.
• Process merchandise deliveries, including receiving, sorting, transferring, and preparing product for the sales floor according to company procedures.
• Assist with visual presentation, including floor moves, product placement, signage, and housekeeping duties.
• Execute visual setup and changes as directed to maintain a cohesive and appealing store environment.
• Demonstrate product knowledge, visual presentation awareness, and an understanding of merchandise flow and sell-through.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by responding to inquiries promptly and sharing feedback that helps enhance the overall shopping experience.
