Our Opportunity : Rainbow Greenhouses Inc. supplies indoor and garden plants to retailers in Western Canada and North Western US. We are seeking highly motivated and hard-working individuals to merchandise our products at our Walmart Indoor Plant Center at our Polo Park, Winnipeg location. This role starts as very part-time at 6 - 12 hrs per week, with the possibility of up to full-time during the garden season if desired. Ideal for students, second jobs, or those seeking a flexible position. With this job, you can be proud of what you do.

Job Summary : Merchandisers are responsible for the care and presentation of live goods in local retail stores and restocking products. Successful merchandisers work diligently, pay attention to details, follow directions thoroughly, and are self-motivated. They handle visual displays, product integrity, pricing, and inventory management.

Key Attributes :

• Must be a team player and willing to collaborate with all team members.
• Maintain a positive attitude in all situations.
• Take ownership of tasks, completing them with 100% effort from start to finish.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

• Physical work, able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to push, pull, and reach.
• Unloading carts of product onto tables or carts.
• Pricing products appropriately when required.
• Reporting inventory needs to supervisors.
• Creating merchandise displays according to Rainbow standards.
• Being self-driven, prioritizing time and duties effectively.
• High energy level and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications and Education Requirements :

• Personal and reliable vehicle preferred but not required.
• CSA safety-toed shoes (steel or composite) required for the duration of shifts.
