This role acts as a brand ambassador and sales representative, ensuring the wine portfolio for Andrew Peller Ltd is well represented on grocery aisle shelves. Responsibilities include merchandising, relationship building, selling, and sales support across grocery stores in your region. If developing into a Territory Manager or Sales leader is your goal, this is a great place to start.

Hours will vary; your own car is required, and you must be available for 6-8 hour shifts, totaling approximately 20-32 hours per week.

Responsibilities

  • Building and maintaining product displays in stores.
  • Distributing and ensuring all approved programs and value adds are applied correctly.
  • Moving and adjusting product displays to maximize shelf presence.
  • Ensuring stores are updated with current assortments, promotional pricing, and displays.
  • Selling and executing the Andrew Peller portfolio to meet targets in grocery stores.
  • Building and strengthening relationships with key grocery stakeholders.
  • Informing management about competitive activity and market changes.
  • Completing and submitting weekly customer reports to the Key Account Manager.
  • Following safe work procedures and reporting hazards.

Candidate Profile

  • Sales or service experience in grocery or alcohol beverage preferred.
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Business is ideal.
  • Self-motivated with high accountability.
  • Ability to identify opportunities and act promptly, often independently.
  • Strong communication, product knowledge, problem-solving, and attention to detail skills.
  • Maintaining confidential information related to sales and revenue.
  • Effective time management and prioritization skills.
  • Flexible outside regular hours when needed.
  • Occasional long-distance travel required.
  • Valid Ontario G license.
