Job summary

Brand Momentum is seeking an independent contractor Merchandiser to work at a retail location, 5 to 7 hours per week on weekdays. Starting rate is $18/HR, offering flexible schedule and independence within a national sales and merchandising team.

Responsibilities include building attractive displays, restocking per Planogram, updating pricing, and executing account-specific initiatives while collaborating with store personnel. The role requires strong communication and physical stamina.

Qualifications

• Flexibility to adjust to an ever-changing market environment.
• Able to lift up to 45 lbs.
• Able to stand for several hours.

Responsibilities

• Make product displays look beautiful and appealing to customers.
• Bring products from storage and fill displays following a Planogram.
• Update seasonal displays/pricing.
• Place product orders.
• Execute account-specific initiatives (bookings, end caps, marketing programs).
• Recognize opportunities to add value on each store visit while collaborating with department personnel.
• Provide regular merchandising support - maintain shelves, Planogram changes, Out of Stock correction, freshness, etc.
• Prepare and submit required reporting daily.

We are currently looking for an independent contractor who is a detail-orientated Merchandiser to work at a retail location, for 5 to 7 hours per week on weekdays!

Responsibilities

• Making our packaged product displays look beautiful and appealing to customers
• Bringing products from the storage area and filling up the displays following a Planogram
• Updating any seasonal displays/pricing
• Placing product orders
• Executing account-specific initiatives i.e. bookings, end caps, marketing programs
• Recognizing opportunities to add value on each store visit while collaborating with department personnel
• Providing regular merchandising support - maintaining shelves, Planogram changes, Out of Stock correction, freshness, etc.
• Preparing and submitting required reporting daily

Position Requirements:

• Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships
• Able to maintain a professional demeanour with the public and store personnel when performing duties
• Detail oriented and extremely organized
• Flexibility to adjust to an ever-changing market environment
• Able to lift up to 45 lbs
• Able to stand for several hours on a continuous basis
