Our Opportunity: Rainbow Greenhouses Inc. supplies indoor and garden plants to retailers in Western Canada and the Northwestern US. We are seeking highly motivated and hard-working individuals to merchandise our products at our Walmart Indoor Plant Center in Richmond, B.C. This part-time role involves 4 hours per week, making it ideal for students, second jobs, or those seeking a flexible position. There is potential for growth within the company!

Job Summary: Merchandisers are responsible for the care and presentation of live goods in retail stores, including restocking and maintaining product quality. Successful candidates are detail-oriented, follow instructions diligently, self-motivated, and committed to high standards of visual display, pricing, and inventory management.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Physical work, able to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to push/pull and reach.
• Unloading carts of product onto tables or carts.
• Pricing products appropriately when required.
• Reporting inventory needs to supervisors.
• Creating merchandise displays according to Rainbow standards.
• Attention to detail.
• Self-driven with good time management.
• High energy and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

• Smartphone usage for email, photos, etc.
• Flexible schedule.
• Personal and reliable vehicle preferred but not required.
• CSA safety-toed shoes required during shifts.

Preferred Skills: Excellent people skills, adaptability, organizational skills, problem-solving, physical capability for manual labor. Merchandising experience is preferred.

Wage: From CA$18.00 per hour.
