We are currently recruiting a passionate, dedicated, and hardworking individual for our part-time Merchandiser position in Edmonton.
The role of a Merchandiser is to provide sales support to the territory Sales Representative and ensure store-level merchandising excellence to expand sales of Arterra Wines Canada's premium wine portfolio from both a volume and market share perspective. Daily duties include, but are not limited to:
- Build and merchandise impactful product displays, features, and racks in retail accounts.
- Work with store partners to ensure proper rotation of back stock to retail floor, displays, and shelves.
- Ensure monthly sales are passed on by retailers and tagged at shelf and display.
- Apply shelf talkers, neck tags, and related value-added items to inventory at shelf and on display.
- Maintain and replace branded point of sale materials in partner stores, including backer cards, shelf talkers, case cards, posters, price cards, fridge clings, etc.
- Ensure Arterra products are properly shelved and maintain this positioning regularly.
- Maintain overall product and display appearance: dust-free, correctly priced on shelf and in coolers.
- Take photos of displays, competitors' displays, competitors' packs, new products, etc.
- Maintain communication with the sales representative regarding buyer preferences, stock concerns, market intelligence, and daily updates.
- Complete other projects such as trade events, tastings, seminars, staff training, and store setups.
Job Requirements:
- Beverage alcohol industry experience and product knowledge are assets.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Results-oriented, self-motivated, driven, and disciplined.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Proof of valid Driver’s License required.
- Own a vehicle with proper insurance and a clean driving record within DMV policy guidelines.
- Reside within or near the sales territory.
- Ability to lift cases weighing up to 45 pounds regularly.
