Why this role is important?

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

MERCHANDISING:

• Organize backroom product and follow Backroom Inventory Management (BIMI) processes
• Use PDT and MMS Systems to perform daily tasks
• Manage Exit Strategy and Product Return as directed
• Be an expert in assigned areas of product inventory, placement, and expiry dates
• Maintain store standards related to image and trends
• Ensure product displays are consumer-focused and 'shoppable'

RECEIVING:

• Receive merchandise according to policies and procedures
• Keep the backroom organized and neat
• Complete proper documentation for receiving and returns
• Support Store Managers in maintaining quality and standards

CUSTOMER SERVICE:

• Maintain a professional image in accordance with uniform policy
• Proactively acknowledge and assist customers

GENERAL:

• Comply with health and safety regulations
• Adhere to store standards and loss prevention policies
• Perform other duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Planning, judgment, and decision-making skills
• Efficiency, organization, and neatness
• Ability to adapt to changing situations
• Accuracy and efficiency in cash handling (if applicable)

EXPERIENCE:

• Basic computer and cash register skills
• Strong organizational and record-keeping abilities
• Detail-oriented and able to work independently
• Self-motivated

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Flexible shifts including nights and weekends

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Lift up to 50 pounds
• Climb ladders
