DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
MERCHANDISING:
- Organize backroom product and follow Backroom Inventory Management (BIMI) processes.
- Use PDT and MMS Systems to perform daily tasks.
- Manage Exit Strategy and Product Return as directed.
- Become an expert in assigned areas of product inventory, placement, and expiry dates.
- Maintain store standards related to image and current trends.
- Ensure product displays are customer-focused and 'shoppable.'
RECEIVING:
- Receive merchandise according to policies and procedures.
- Keep the backroom organized and neat.
- Complete proper documentation for receiving and returning goods.
- Support the Front Store Manager/Assistant Front Store Manager in maintaining quality standards.
CUSTOMER SERVICE:
- Maintain a professional appearance in accordance with uniform policy and dress code.
- Proactively acknowledge and assist customers.
GENERAL:
- Comply with health and safety regulations.
- Adhere to store standards and loss prevention policies.
- Perform other duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong planning, judgment, and decision-making skills.
- Efficient, organized, and neat.
- Adaptable to changing situations on the sales floor.
- Accuracy and efficiency in processing customer transactions (if applicable).
EXPERIENCE:
- Some computer and cash register skills.
- Well-organized with good record-keeping abilities.
- Detail-oriented.
- Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to climb ladders.
