Job description

Description Position at Value Village

Job Title: Merchandise Processing Associate

Who we are:

As one of the largest for-profit thrift operators in the United States, Canada, and Australia, our mission is to champion reuse and inspire a future where secondhand is second nature. We supply our stores with gently-used, one-of-a-kind items donated by the community to local nonprofit organizations. We purchase these items from our nonprofit partners, redirecting billions of pounds of used items away from landfills and onto our store racks and shelves for reuse, while providing our partners with funding for community programs. We are proud of our impact and the #ThriftProud movement at savers.com.

Our brands include Savers (U.S.), 2nd Ave (U.S.), Value Village (U.S. and Canada), Unique (U.S.), Village des Valeurs (Quebec), and Savers Australia.

Summary & Positions:

At Savers / Value Village, our Merchandise Processing Associates create an excellent experience for Customers, Donors, and Team Members. We are hiring both Full-Time and Part-Time Merchandise Processing Associates.

  • The opportunity to celebrate uniqueness from diverse backgrounds and perspectives.
  • To work in a purpose-driven company with a positive environmental and community impact.
  • Career growth and development opportunities aligned with our store expansion plans.

What you get:

  • Comprehensive onboarding and training from day one.
  • In-house expertise through Savers University, developing most training internally.
  • Extended health care plans for full-time Team Members.
  • Company-paid Life and AD&D Insurance.
