Primary Responsibilities :

Territory to include : Fort St. John, Peace River, High Prairie, and Slave Lake

As a Merchandise Associate, you will report to the Sales Account Manager. You will work in our customer retail locations in the Central Alberta area and be responsible for maintaining and executing our SmartStock Programs. Responsibilities include tote to rack merchandising, display rack assembly, plan-o-gram execution, product rotation, and overall merchandising services. Your professionalism and execution are key to driving the business forward for our customers, vendors, and ourselves. Cell phone and car allowance will be provided, along with coverage for expenses.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to :
  • Maintaining a detailed call routine as directed by the Sales Account Manager.
  • Communicating weekly with the Sales Account Manager for guidance on program execution.
  • Executing and maintaining the SmartStock program (racks, plan-o-gram, ordering, merchandising).
  • Reducing out-of-stocks on shelves.
  • Ensuring products are fresh and within date code parameters.
  • Addressing customer needs and concerns promptly.
  • Ensuring store compliance with plan-o-gram, marketing, and branding standards.
  • Identifying display opportunities and optimizing display placement.
  • Properly displaying, pricing, and labeling products.
  • Providing solutions to customer challenges with assistance.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications :
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Must drive to customer locations using personal transportation (gas card provided).
  • Valid driver's license, clean driving record, reliable vehicle (snow tires may be required), and valid insurance.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Ability to understand and implement store plan-o-grams and instructions.
  • Ability to operate a hand-held inventory device, calculators, and computers.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs such as Excel and Outlook.
