Job description

Tyndale is a Christian university that prepares leaders for work in the private, public and not-for-profit sectors, ministry and the global mission of the church. POSITION PURPOSE

The Merch Coordinator is responsible for creating and promoting merchandise for Tyndale University.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Under the direction of the Director of Marketing & Communications, the Merch Coordinator may be responsible for some or all of the following duties:

  • Create and develop merchandise designs that align with brand identity and appeal to various target audiences.
  • Manage online store offerings, including product listings, pricing, and promotions.
  • Work closely with marketing and web teams to coordinate product launches and promotional campaigns.
  • Monitor sales trends, analyze data, and provide insights to optimize product offerings and marketing strategies.
  • Work with various centres and departments at Tyndale to collect seasonal orders.
  • Work with external vendors to find new products.
  • Responsible for marketing strategies to promote the online store.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
a) Education
  • Currently enrolled in a post-secondary institution
b) Experience
  • Previous experience in merchandise design, e-commerce, or retail is preferred
c) Skills and Abilities
  • Experience in graphic design software.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Demonstrated professionalism
  • Self-starter, strong work ethic
  • Positive and friendly
  • Flexible, with ability to work with distractions and adjust to change
  • A keen desire to serve family, church, work and community.

e) Physical and Mental Demands
  • Moderate stress from multiple project deadlines and multiple distractions
  • Work outside of regular business hours

Duties and responsibilities that do not constitute a major change may be added, deleted or changed at any time at the discretion of the supervisor either orally or in writing.

Hourly Rate:

$19.00
